Commercial Businesses
A building that is designed and built to hold a business, such as a restaurant or retail store, is considered a commercial building. In some cases, a commercial building may also be mixed-use, provided more than 50% of the space is used for commercial purposes.
Commercial and Residential
Commercial and residential construction projects are distinct from one another except in the case of multi-family residential buildings. Multi-family residential buildings with five or more units are considered to be commercial properties.
